Hi, everybody. Well, here I am. My launch sequence is finally completed and I am raring to go...Sort of...
It appears that if I want to upload a picture for my profile, I have to post it to my blog first, since I cannot get the URL right for the photos and paintings.
So, here goes attempt number two for uploading a pic for my profile.
Now, for this particular blog, I think I will keep it for my own personal musings. I am planning to set up several blogs: one for our (my husband, John's and mine) bird's gossip column (yes, Sunshine, the sun conure and Whisper, Pastel, and Pixie, the cockatiels have plenty to say, even if I have to translate, and not very effectively); one for my art and writings (family oriented, whimsical, oil paintings), and perhaps another for art that may not be, shall we say, family oriented (tasteful, G-rated nudes, but nudes none-the-less...don't worry, I will label this blog for over-18 viewing...and there are few, if none)...or themes that are not exactly family oriented, perhaps one for cartooning and animation.
I plan to make this my main blog page, but cross-link everything from there.
As for now, my photos, art and our fids (that means Feathered Kids) are hiding out on Flickr.
Now, what did I forget. Hmmmm...Oh, yes...the link! You might need that!

I hope to add a sense of humor and silliness to things as well, and I hope you can laugh. But, some things will be serious....
